A small victory: Klippan tags perfectly reproduced

Previously we dreaded the making of reproduction tags for our seat belts. While the artwork was a ton of work requiring the manipulation of the font pixel by pixel, the label manufacture went quite smoothly. We were very lucky to find a supplier who understood our desire for perfection and they went to great lengths to match not only the original fabric, but the original printing method too. In the end they delivered perfect seat belt tags that are even folded like the originals and ready to stitch into place.

We made a few extra so, when time permits, we will add these to the Dino246.com store

    1. Thank you for your kind comment. We are really trying to do the best we can. As for shows, the plan is to only show the car once with the venue not yet determined. This car is for driving despite the crazy work and it will not live its life in a garage or on a trailer.

    1. It is all relative I suppose but this is the way the top restorers do it so we are humbled to have them admire our work validating that we are doing it right. In the end it is a hobby that we do for fun.

    1. The artwork and minimum order charge from the printer will make it the worlds most expensive set of seat belt labels. Sorry but we will only offer the ones we currently show.
